Whoever fights for freedom never stands still.
Nicolas A. Rimoldi, born in 1995, grew up in Neuenkirch in the canton of Lucerne. Sovereigntist, civil rights activist and founder of MASS-VOLL!, Switzerland's strongest civil rights movement.
Standing up for freedom runs in his family: his grandfather fled Hungary for Switzerland in 1956 after the revolution was crushed. Rimoldi's Matura thesis on the Hungarian refugees of 1956 was awarded a Peter Dolder Prize by the Foundation for Democracy.
Since 2021 he has led MASS-VOLL! — putting him on the front line wherever fundamental rights, direct democracy and Swiss sovereignty are at stake. He has headed four national referendum campaigns since.

Joined the FDP in Neuenkirch LU, later vice-president of the Young Liberals of the canton of Lucerne.

E-voting moratorium
Campaign manager of the federal popular initiative “For a Secure and Trustworthy Democracy”.

Paternity leave referendum
Co-president of the federal referendum committee “No to Wage Deductions”, board member of AUNS.
2021
Founding of MASS-VOLL!
On 20 February 2021, Switzerland's most important civil rights movement was born — for freedom, sovereignty and fundamental rights.
2022–23
COVID-19 Act referendum
Initiator, co-campaign manager and co-president of the federal referendum against the extension of the COVID-19 Act.
2022–25
Sovereignty Initiative
Initiator & president of the initiative committee of the federal popular initiative “For the Effective Protection of Constitutional Rights”.
2023
National Council candidacy
Candidate for the National Council in the canton of Zurich on the MASS-VOLL! list.
2024–25
E-ID referendum
Initiator & president of the federal referendum committee against electronic identity — the vote was lost by a razor-thin 50.39%.

Founded his own consultancy for political strategy, campaigns and communication.
